Brand-new niece!

Please welcome to the world Dayla Elizabeth Jertson, daughter of my brother and sister-in-law, Erik and Sarah.





Dayla arrived on Wednesday, December 1, at 1:56 a.m. She was two months early, due to fairly sudden complications with Sarah's health. She was 2 pounds, 15 ounces and 15 inches long. Despite the less-than-ideal circumstances of her birth, Dayla and her mama are doing very well.





Obviously, she is beautiful! And I am an ecstatic auntie!
