It's Sunday of the Split Identity. We shout "Hosanna!" at the beginning of worship, and "Crucify him!" shortly thereafter. Not totally unlike our ever-imperfect discipleship, is it?

I thought of you this morning at worship as Phil selected two Taize chants for the service. There was quite the contrast in the Palm Sunday Service starting off with "Blessed is He" sung by both the children and the choir and ending with the choir singing "Oh Sacred Head Now Wounded."
